Terms of Liability and Risk:
All riding and traffic around the horses is at your own risk, as unfortunately a company cannot take out insurance that covers damage to guests. You should make sure that you are covered by your own accident insurance.
Children who are going on horseback riding without parents/guardians must be accompanied on arrival, who signs that all riding and traffic around the horses is done at their own risk, or alternatively send a statement to [info@guldhest.dk](mailto:p%C 3% A5info@guldhest.dk)
Institutions participating with children must send a parent or guardian's statement to [info@guldhest.dk](mailto: tilinfo@guldhest.dk) before the trip, stating that the child's riding and riding around the horses is at their own risk.
For adults on blue and red rides: Here rides in areas with free-range Exmoor ponies as well as cattle of both sexes. We have good experience with this, but all animals can react to their environment, so the risk involved is also one's own.
Remember when booking all children (from 2-17 years old) to pony rides and pony clubs, or when booking green tours for children under 12 who cannot ride, make sure to bring an adult who can lead the horse. If you show up without, unfortunately, the trip is not refundable as we have booked the horse, picked it up and prepared it.
When booking, remember to be honest about the level of riding based on the experience categories shown. Please pay special attention if you are booking for others. If you have booked a scheduled tour and do not meet the level of experience, we reserve the right to put the guest off the tour without a refund. One will then be asked to pull the horse back to the fold of easiest road. This is for the safety of both the guest and the horse, as well as the others on the tour who have been looking forward to the pace.
If you book one or more children without you joining as an adult, pay special attention to the above. Before the trip, send a text message to the guide with your phone number. You must be available during the ride so that we can reach you if the child (s) cannot make the trip. If this happens, you will be asked to come and meet us and help the child back with the horse, as we cannot send children away alone or riding. Please go back and wait with the horse at the starting point until the group is there again. Again, this is a measure so that we both ensure the safety of children and horses, and that other guests do not spoil their experience with us.
Terms of Cancellation and Illness:
If you regret:
Unfortunately, we do not refund booked tours if you change your mind or are prevented. This is because we already provide a tour guide when booking and keep the horse for you so that others cannot book the place. But if there are places on other teams, we can look into the possibility of relegating you. Call then on 0045- 40481060.
If you get sick:
If you become ill and notify it no later than 7 a.m. in the morning before the trip, you will receive a replacement trip to be used before November of the same year. Call cancellations and book a new ride at 0045-40481060.
If we get sick:
In rare cases, Goldhest may have to cancel trips, and then of course you will have the trip moved to another day or the money will be refunded. Cancellations are only made if the guide is ill and no one else can be found, if horses become ill or limp, or in particularly challenging weather conditions that make riding out risky or very uncomfortable. For example, in case of ice sheets, persistent lightning and thunder, stormy weather or torrential all-day rain. In these cases, we will contact you by phone.
